Dr. Gwendolyn Alterius: Professor Osmium… Let’s be cautious. This was sealed for a reason; I still believe a malicious alien intelligence was responsible for this galaxy’s demise, and my data suggests it is actually sealed somewhere within.

Dr. Osmium: HA! Humans are perfectly well equipped to be the authors of their own demise. Recall 21st Century Earth! Don’t underestimate the insidious power of counter-intellectualism, social and cultural polarization, the absurd theatre of political media, and fear of scientific progress.
